Who - An organisation that is pivotal in providing medical and cancer education content to promote and aid cancer treatment. They promote the latest developments in cancer treatment to industry professionals with the aim of keeping current and responsive.

What - The concept for the meeting was for leading cancer specialists to present information on the latest trends in cancer care and overall patient care to an audience of cancer specialists across the UK without the need for all participants to travel to one central location. In total 8 remote locations were set up, each being equipped with a satellite downlink antenna and audio visual equipment. Once the main presentation from London was complete, an interactive session began via an audio link back to the panel in London.

The organisation broadcasts internationally in up to eight languages simultaneously and features programs focusing on the different cultures of the world and the environments in which they exist.  Its focus lies in producing programs that can be enjoyed by people of all ages at all times. It recognizes that television plays a significant role in the world and has accordingly devoted itself to applying this influence positively for the purpose of educating its viewers.

What - Their UK event takes place every year in the summer. The significance and meaning of their Annual Convention are deeply ingrained. It is a regular event celebrated in every country that the organisation has a branch. It is an occasion for all members of the community to gather together in an environment of brotherhood to share and give but primarily to mutually enhance spiritual awareness.

We are honoured to be engaged to provide broadcast links  to provide backhaul satellite services with multiple language translations for the last 5 years. We manage transmission to their central MCR and broadcast the conventions from UK & Germany, live to the entire world. The events are spread across 3 days and are hugely successful with over 70.000 people attending them personally and reaching many thousands more globally via satellite broadcasts.

What - We are honoured to be one of their trusted partners and have worked with them on many events, in multiple countries over the years. Earlier this year they came to us with a basic requirement of a satellite uplink and a three camera setup for an event originating from Bangalore, India.  This was to be backhauled to their facility in California and then webcast to their employees. However, due to a high audience demand in India and the lack of suitable bandwidth for all to access via the webcast, the requirement quickly expanded. We were first asked to help more local facilities in Bangalore, such as additional cameras and crew, staging, provision of LED outdoor screens and marquees to cope with the huge audience numbers. Later demand quickly included other parts of India and we were asked to facilitate 4 additional downlink locations along with associated AV equipment. 

We have worked with them continuously since 2006 as a trusted partner and organised over 40 events for them. In this year alone we have organised events for them across the globe in Japan, Spain, Brazil, India, China, Ireland, Italy and Singapore broadcasting to audiences in excess of 40,000 people in the larger events.

Who - Based in the USA for over 29 years, they have helped organizations deliver private and interactive video for corporate communications, training, broadcast and special events.
Top companies rely on them to design, implement and manage large-scale private video delivery systems and services. 

What - Over the years we have been in the privileged position to work with them on many different international projects for various end clients. These projects can range from a single uplink with a single camera and space segment to multi camera, multi-location international broadcasts. On one such project they came to us with a requirement for an international insurance company.  This company had  endeavoured to do an interactive broadcast the previous year via webcast however due to the multi city component, they were disappointed with the result.  Together we worked on a satellite solution for the client.  The event hub was in London with remote locations in Paris, Madrid, Melbourne, Sydney, Hong Kong & Singapore.  The hub location was a 3 camera production and along with this we also worked with the client on set design and staging.  We equipped all the remote locations with a single camera and the necessary AV equipment to enable a truly international broadcast.  From beginning to end, we worked with them on a tailor made solution for the client who were truly delighted with the end result.
